The air freshener of 100 ml. WITHOUT DIFFUSER have a duration between 4 and 12 months, depending on the volatility of individual essences, and the average length of most 8 months.
The use of diffusers AmbiSol aroma increases the evaporation of approximately three to five depending on the type of diffuser.
Diffusers can be classified according to the porous surface that are in direct contact with the air. The greater the porous surface, the greater is the evaporation of the aroma.
- Enamel Diffuser : Evaporation Media. Evaporation multiplied by three.
- Terracota Diffuser : High evaporation. Evaporation multiplied by five.
For the less volatile essential oils we recommend terracota diffuser.
For more volatile essential oils we recommend the enamel diffuser.
We can also consider that in small spaces, we need a slower evaporation, it is advisable to use the diffuser enamel even when the essential oil is a little volatile.
The decision to use the diffuser AmbiSol and the choice between one or the other model is based on our tastes and needs for each of us, so there is no exact rule to follow, our experience is our best ally.
Most volatile oils are those that are perceived to be more sharp smelling from very close, but which are quite effective used in free spaces or without diffuser (Eucalyptus, orange, lemon, etc...).
The least volatile oils on the other hand are perceived very agreeably on them having smelled very closely, but need more exposure to air for its clearly perceptible aroma. For these oils are recommended for reduced spaces or the use of a terracotta diffuser.
